Berlin Beats present Marcus Henriksson at Glow

Marcus Henriksson is regarded as one of the most important and unique electronic music artists to ever come out of Sweden. His now legendary Minilogue project was created 18 years ago with Sebastian Mullaert somewhere deep inside the Swedish woods. Minilogue raised to international fame almost immediately and became synonymous with a warm analogue techno sound, filled with warped and wondrous sounds, creating textures with true depth.
Fascinated by the connection between human beings and music, the classically trained Marcus has an amazing ability to connect with the audience wherever he plays, painting landscapes and drawing images for the audience to travel within. Anyone who have shared an evening with Marcus can attest that his DJ-sets are authentic journeys that never leave any traveller behind.
Marcus has produced 6 albums and over 80 vinyl singles, along with artists such as System 7, Sebastian Mullaert, Mathew Jonson, Karl Axel Bissler and Massimo Vivona. The release of his first solo album ElectromagiO is also on its way, which Minilogue fans will instantly recognise by the colourful, tribal and hypnotic sound.
Supporting Marcus on the night will be our resident DJ and fellow Swede The Outsider, making sure the dance floor is properly warmed up before handing over the controls to Marcus.
