Alex aka Sonderboy has been surrounded by music of all kinds since he could walk. From an early age alex has been playing Drums, Electric guitar & Bass guitar which kickstarted his DJ career. Sonderboy is a name that is very well recognised on the Asian & Australian nightlife circuit. He learnt his trade in Cardiff & Swansea whilst in university helping run some of the biggest underground nights in the country including the likes of ‘faux pas’ & ‘treatment’. This DJ brings an excitement and a stage prescence that is setting him aside from the rest. With his background musical knowledge he is pushing himself further everyday setting a new standard for other performers in the region. He takes much inspiration from the likes of Maceo plex, Bicep, Hot Since 82, Jamie jones, Dale howard & Cristoph just to name a few and his sound is known for it’s bass heavy house tracks with dark running melodies throughout. He has established himself internationally all over Thailand, Singapore spinning at pool parties, high end rooftop venues and is now one of the hottest properties in Melbourne. Alex is currently holding down residencies in Circus & Lucky Coq which are amongst the biggest clubs in Melbourne and has recently played St Kilda festival main stage supporting huge names such as PAWSA, Dr Packer, Jordan Brando & Spacey Space. He finds comfort in reading and reforming huge crowds and is a name that is only going to get bigger as time goes on.
