Haad Khuad, better known as Bottle Beach, is a quiet, small secluded beach in the far north of Koh Pha Ngan. Surrounded by a dense jungle, it has a quite challenging access, so who reaches Bottle Beach is usually spend a few days on the beach, like in all the island's beaches with access from the sea. The easiest way to get here is with the longtail boats that leave frequently in high season from Ao Chaloklum, a small fishing village located about 3.5 km to the west. It’s also possible to reach the beach after a long walk from Ao Chaloklum or the adjacent Haad Khom, or even with a motorcycle ride on a rather bumpy and hazardous road from Ao Thong Nai Pan situated 3 km to the east. The beach itself is a picturesque stretch of white sand long no more than 500 metres, with a longtail boat or two usually parked in the shallow water. The tiny secluded bay is one of Koh Phangan’s most popular snorkelling spots, and the rocks around the edges of the beach are good places to see plenty of colorful tropical fish. Accommodation on Haad Khuad is limited to a few small bungalow resorts offering fan and air conditioned units. Dining and nightlife on the beach is limited to the resorts, with a few beachfront bars offering inexpensive drinks, tasty food and an undeniably great atmosphere.Read More
