Blue Sapphire Golf & Resort

Blue Sapphire Golf & Resort is the first available golf club 36 holes in Kanchanaburi Province. Located just 20 minutes drive from provincial capital, the layout is divided into the 18-hole Canyon Course and 18-hole Ocean Course. An abandoned open-cast sapphire mine surrounded by mountainous hills was used to create the land for both golf courses. Course designers added local plants and native trees to frame each hole. Blue Sapphire's two 18-hole courses are well laid out between a series of man-made emerald blue lakes. There are five different tee positions to accommodate every level of golfer. Every hole is unique and named to reflect its playing characteristics. Water comes into play often on the Canyon Course, which comprises the 9-hole Blue Sapphire and 9-hole Yellow Sapphire courses, while the Ocean Course, including the 9-hole Pink Sapphire and the 9-hole Red Sapphire courses, is the most challenging and includes some of Blue Sapphire's most testing water holes. Blue Sapphire boasts many facilities including a driving course with 22 channels, Thai massage rooms, Ploypailin, a restaurant with capacity of 250 people, 3 seminar rooms, jewellery shops, cruises, and a thousand botanical park as more than 1,000 years in their ages. Blue Sapphire is also a beautiful lake-side resort, which has comfortable accommodations surrounded with several kinds of wild trees. There are many styles of recreation rooms such as 30 rooms on boat house and 16 Blue hotel rooms, 57 rooms in resorts, and hotel 60 rooms, for a total of 163 rooms.
