Haad Yuan is a small, quiet golden sandy beach on the south-eastern coast of Koh Pha Ngan, just 2 km north of the noisy and crowded Haad Rin Nok. About 300 meters in length, this nice beach is a perfect choice for those looking an escape from the crowd and need a quieter atmosphere. Overlooking shallow crystal clear waters, Haad Yuan is the perfect tropical hideaway amid coconut trees and hills covered with lush green jungle. The beach houses the five-star Pariya Resort & Villas, which is one of the island's most luxurious accommodations. However there are other choices accommodation in Haad Yuan including budget bungalows and huts with seaviews. You can reach Haad Yuan following the main dirt road from Baan Tai village with a 4×4 pickup-taxi or even a motorbike, but is recommended only for experienced drivers and when weather is dry. Ultimately, the easiest way to get there is with a longtail boat from the nearby Haad Rin Nok. Travel time is 10 minutes and costs about 200 Baht per for one way.
