Greenwood Golf Club in Pattaya is a 27-hole course located an hour's drive from Pattaya over towards Chonburi. Opened since 2007, this woodland style course was designed by the legendary Peter Thompson 5 times British Open Champion, with the help of Michael Wolverine. It is one of most picturesque golf courses in Pattaya with beautiful landscaping, very popular with locals due to its quality and affordability. The course will provide a satisfying challenge for all golfers and the relatively flay layout is made more interesting by the man-made elevation change. Set within dense woodland, the course has 27-holes in total, A,B and C nine-hole courses, within a natural setting with much flora and fauna. The course weaves its way through rolling hills and tree-lined fairways creating a very enjoyable and unrushed Pattaya golf experience. Utilizing many unique features such as pot bunkers and native Lemon Grass, you will need a keen eye or an observant caddy if you haven’t played here before to get you around safely. Although there are many strategically placed bunkers, there are not so many water hazards. The rolling hills and undulations give the course a real links vibe. Full services are provided in the club house to relax in, including a nice restaurant that overlooks the course, excellent Locker rooms, Pro Shop and Driving Range.
Getting there: Greenwood Golf & Resort is located 55 km north of Pattaya in Khlong Kiu sub-district of Chonburi Province, an hour's drive from the city centre and about 80 minutes from Bangkok.
