Ao Sang Thian Beach, also known as Candlelight Beach, lies in a large bay in the middle of Ko Samet's East coast. Surrounded by crystal waters, the white and fine sand strip is less than 200 meters long but is fairly wide and lovely. Both ends of the coastline are dotted with glossy rocks offering nice spots for snorkelling and swimming. The beach is never too crowded, even in high season and free from group tours, as result it is very quiet and ideal for visitors who like to relax on a semi-deserted beach. The few resorts set in this secluded area offer small quaint bungalows beach front.
