Tawaen Beach is the most developed and popular beach in Koh Larn. Located in the northern part of the island, it consists of a strip of white sand 750 meters long. Surrounded by turquoise crystal water, it is suitable to all seaside activities such as Jet Ski and banana boat. From this beach departs also the excursions with the boat semi-submersible to observe the reef. Behind the beach are many shops, bars and restaurants, as well as several resorts to stay. Most of restaurants have specialized in one or two types of international cuisine, adapting to customers, mainly Russian or Chinese cuisine. Every weekday there are well over a thousand tourists on this beach, also thanks to the direct arrivals of ferry to its pier. Over the weekend the number is more than double that for the many people who come from Bangkok to enjoy a relaxing day.
