Chaweng Night Market is open in the evening from 17.00 to 23.00 seven days a week, 365 days a year. Despite its name, it's not exactly a full and proper outdoor market, even though there are also a few stalls selling clothes, local products and souvenirs. Located between the main road and Chaweng Lake, not far from the Central Festival Samui, the market is effectively a large food court filled with plenty food stands offering a fantastic array of dining options, including a full menu of delicious Thai dishes as well as European and international choices and even a couple of small bars. Each food stall is a family business and many of them offer fresh seafood and fish well displayed in beds of ice. You can enjoy the food strolling through the stalls or comfortably seated at the many tables and chairs laid out in the middle of the densely-packed plaza. As you would expect of a food court, prices are very low, even though the quality is much higher than you would ordinarily expect of a market, with Thai dishes start from 70 baht, skewers of shrimp or squid or meat cooked on small barbecues from 50 baht, lobster and giant prawns at 190 baht per 100g, pizza from 100 baht, cocktails from 80 baht and cocktail buckets from 250 baht.
Opening Hours: The food court is opened daily from 17.00 to 23.00. Read More
