Mo Chit BTS Station is the northernmost and the last skytrain station on the Bangkok’s Sukhumvit Line, also known as the Light Green Line or BTS 1. Located on Phahon Yothin Road between Phahon Yothin Soi 18 and Soi 20 in Chatuchak District, it is one of the busiest Bangkok's skytrain stations, especially during the weekend, due to its proximity to world-famous Chatuchak Weekend Market, the station puts you right at its doorstep. Chatuchak is the largest market in Thailand and one of the world's largest weekend markets, and is held every Saturday and Sunday with a wholesale section open on Friday nights. Mo Chit BTS is also the closest station to the New Mo Chit Bus Terminal, the Bangkok's busiest bus station that connects the capital to the most popular tourist destinations in Thailand. Simply known as Mo Chit, it serves destinations in the North, as Ayutthaya, Sukhothai, Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, and North-East of Thailand, all Isan cities, and some destinations to South, as Phuket, Samui or Krabi.
