BTS Phrom Phong

Phrom Phong BTS Station is a skytrain station on the Bangkok's Sukhumvit Line in Khlong Toei District. The station is located along the Sukhumvit Road close to the intersection with Soi Phrom Phong, Sukhumvit Soi 39 that is a popular area and a culturally diverse neighbourhood, with several stand-alone shops, trend-setting restaurants and art galleries. Phrom Phong has a large concentration of Japanese and Korean expatriates, so there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets in the area catering for this population. The area is also a popular shopping destination, including Rain Hill Plaza, upscale restaurant and shopping complex, and EmQuartier and The Emporium shopping malls, directly connected at station by a skybridge. Next to the station, there is Benjakiti Park, the favourite destination of Bangkok's joggers.
