28th Laguna Phuket Triathlon

Asia’s finest integrated destination “Laguna Phuket” has announced the schedule for the 28th Laguna Phuket Triathlon, to be held on Sunday 20 November 2022. Applications are now being accepted for each race designation, including full Individual and Team Triathlon, Sprint Triathlon and Duathlon. Every 2021 entry has already been AUTOMATICALLY TRANSFERRED to the 20 November 2022 date. NO ACTION FROM YOU IS REQUIRED.
Held across the famous Laguna Phuket destination race course, athletes enjoy the unique swim taking in both the Andaman Sea and fresh water lagoon. The challenging bike course includes scenic rides through the Phuket countryside and local villages, with the climax coming over the imposing Naithon hills. The run course takes in the entire Laguna Phuket destination, with the climax finish back on the stunning beachside. To facilitate the travel for athletes and their followers, the 7 hotels in the Laguna Phuket group have joined forces to offer competitive rates. From each Laguna Phuket hotel, guests can walk or enjoy free shuttle buses and boats to the Laguna Grove race venue. Southeast Asia’s longest running and most successful triathlon event, the Laguna Phuket Triathlon was listed as Top 8 of The World’s Greatest Tri Swims by 220 Triathlon Magazine (UK) in 2020. LPT has also been ranked 5th on the 10 Best Triathlons in the World list, by Let’s Do This (UK). Laguna Phuket destination has been named an Honourable Contributor in Sports and Exercise, by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports’ Department of Physical Education (DPE) in 2019.
► Taking place across the famous Laguna Phuket, the 28th LPT features:
► Laguna Phuket Triathlon with the signature race distance of 1.8Km swim, 50Km bike, and 12Km run on Sunday, 20 November 2022
► The Sprint Triathlon (0.5Km swim, 20Km bike, and 6Km run) will be staged once again on the same day as the LPT on Sunday, 20 November 2022.
► Laguna Phuket Triathlon 2022 will also feature the inaugural Laguna Phuket Duathlon (LPD). Crafted in a 4Km run – 50Km bike – 12Km run combination, the Duathlon will take place on the same day as LPT, giving its athletes a chance to experience the race’s signature bike course.
