Mini Siam in Pattaya is a famous open-air miniature park with scale models of well known buildings from all around the world. The attractions is located on Sukhumvit Road at kilometer 143 marker from Bangkok in Bang Lamung district, North Pattaya, approximately 3.5 kilometres north of city center. Opened since 1986, Mini Siam is set on an area of more than 29 Rais, 50,000sqm, and is made up of two areas. Mini Siam contains models of Thailand's historic and modern buildings, while Mini Europe contains structures from Europe, the United States and the rest of the world. Parks's facilities include the booking halls, the souvenir shops, the drink & snack shop, and a large car park. Through the large and well-preserved grounds are placed about 100 replicas of historic and modern buildings on a scale of 1:25. At each structure is an information table providing comprehensive details. After dark the scale models are beautifully illuminated. At Mini Siam area you will find scale models of buildings from different eras in the history of Thailand including the Democracy Monument in Bangkok that was the first model built, the Phanom Rung, a temple dating back to the Khmer era, the Wat Arun, better known as the temple of Dawn, which is one of Thailand’s most famous landmarks, and the world-known Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew in Bangkok’s historical Rattanakosin area. Other scale models in Mini Siam area include Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall, Wat Mahathat at Sukhothai Historical Park, several temples of the Ayutthaya Historical Park, Victory Monument in Bangkok, Rama IX bridge in Bangkok, Bridge over the river Kwai, Hualamphong train station in Bangkok, Wat Phra That Phanom temple in Nakhon Phanom, the Subanahongsa Royal Barge and a statue of Erawan, the mythological multi headed elephant. Mini Europe area contains scale models of World's most famous landmarks, like the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel tower from France, the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Colosseum from Italy, a beautiful replica of Angkor Wat in Siam Reap, which is Cambodia’s best known monument, and the temple of Abu Simbel in Egypt with its enormous statues of Pharaoh Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari. Other structures in Mini Europe include Tower Bridge in London, Sydney Opera House, Statue of Liberty, The Temple of Heaven in Beijing, Cathedral of Resurrection of Christ in St Petersburg, Merlion in Singapore, Cologne Cathedral and Neuschwanstein Castle in South Germany.
Admission fee & Opening hours: Mini Siam is open daily from 7.00 to 21.00. Entrance fees at ticket counters are: Adult 300 baht, Child till 120 cm hight 300 baht, under 90 cm hight free entry.
Getting there: The attractions is located along the Sukhumvit Road, between McDonald's and Go-Kart Road Racing trak in Bang Lamung district, North Pattaya, approximately 3.5 kilometres north of city center. Mini Siam has arranged a new shuttle van service for every Guest of each Tour Counters within at Pattaya, with four daily departures.
