Siam Center

Siam Center was built in 1973 in the heart of Siam neighborhood as one of Bangkok's first shopping malls. Throughout its long history the mall has undergone renovation several times, including after a fire in 1995. In January 2013, after a full rejuvenation of the interiors and exteriors, Siam Center ushered a new page of its history and re-branding itself as Siam Center “The Ideaopolis”, a new revolutionary retail development concept that put the mall among the world’s most innovative shopping destinations. The renewed Siam Center is an arena of ideas, where art, fashion, technology, lifestyle and entertainment collide to create an unexpected experience. Also the brand owners and retailers have joined forces to create new prototype of store, where the appeal of the location and offerings rises above all differences of gender, age, and taste. The mall has large open spaces with many chairs and sofas, and several interactive televisions making the Siam Center not only a great destination for the shopping, but also a relaxing and fun entertainment place to visit. The mall is located on Rama I Road across intersection with Phaya Thai Road, next to Siam Square, Bangkok's most popular shopping area in Pathum Wan District. Siam Center is filled with over 200 stores of international and Thai brands offering their latest new-arrival collections here before they are presented at any other store. The edifice spreads over four floors, each one has a name and different theme. On the first two floors, Fashion Avenue and Fashion Galleria, you will find well-known brands as Nike, Jaspal, Accessorize, Havianas, SuperDry and Levis. The third floor is named Fashion Visionary and is dedicate to local flagship boutiques, as Greyhound, Fly Now III and Kloset, and new emerging Thai fashion designers. On top floor is Food Factory where are restaurants and cafés that have special menus available exclusively at Siam Center.
Getting there - The mall is connected by a pedestrian walkway to the Siam BTS Station, just 150 meters away, and so easily accessible from any area of downtown with the Bangkok’s Skytrain.
