Siam Paragon is a world-class shopping complex on Rama I Road, in Bangkok's Pathum Wan district. Located in hearth of Bangkok's popular shopping area, Siam Paragon is the most luxurious mall in the capital. The enormous gleaming mall features over 350 flagship stores of the most prestigious and exclusive world’s fashion brands, as well as world-class attractions like "Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World", the largest aquarium in South East Asia, to "KidZania", the world’s largest kid’s attraction, to "Paragon Cineplex" offering sensational entertainment. At present day, Siam Paragon is the 3rd largest mall in Thailand, after the nearby CentralWorld and CentralPlaza WestGate in Nonthaburi province, and one of the biggest shopping centers in Asia. Opened in December 2005, the mall has a total gross area of 400,000 square metres, including 100,000 square metres of underground parking, accommodating 4,000 cars, 50,000 square metres of Paragon Department Store, 40,000 square metres dedicated to retail shops selling luxury brand apparel, and 8,000 square metres of Gourmet Market and Food Hall on the ground level, dedicated to restaurants and grocery stores. The imposing building consists of eight floors, as follows: the basement floor, the ground floor, the Main Floor, and then 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th up to the 5th floor. Siam Paragon's Main Floor, named so despite it is one above the ground, is directly linked by an elevated walkway at adjacent Siam BTS Station, as well as to Ratchaprasong Junction, where CentralWorld, Gaysorn and several other shopping malls and hotels are located. The main floor and first floor of mall are dedicated exclusively to flagship stores of prestigious designer brands. On the Main Floor, The Luxury, you can find Versace, Hermes, Chanel, Burberry, Gucci, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, YSL, Salvatore Ferragamo, Jim Thompson, Marc Jacobs, Emilio Pucci, as well as the best brands of leather goods and jewelry, like Balenciaga, Jimmy Choo, Bottega Veneta, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Rolex, Bvlgari, Mont Blanc and Cartier. On the first floor, Fashion Venue, the prime locations inside the glass atrium are dedicated to prestigious fashion brands yet, like Paul Smith, Emporio Armani, Trussardi and Hugo Boss, followed from more affordable brands further into the mall, such as Jaspal, Gap, Zara, H&M, Swarovski, Greyhound and Footwork. The 2nd and 3rd floors, Lifestyle and Leisure, are mostly dedicated to the stores selling items for leisure and sport, with vast spaces dedicated to golf, as well as to a large number of electronics stores, such as Sumsung Plaza, the Sony Style Store, Bang & Olufsen and Bose. On these levels there are also Spa and beauty salons, jewelers, eyeglasses and book shops, like Asia Books and Kinokuniya libraries, where you can find book in English, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, French and German. One of highlight on the second floor is the showrooms of prestigious cars. Here you can admire the latest models of Bentley, McLaren, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Lotus, Maserati, Lamborghini, while Ferrari Store is on third floor. The fourth floor is dedicated to IT and telephony, with several stores, like Jay Mart and IT City, selling mobile phones, laptop computer, electronic accessories and digital products. For fans of the system Apple there is the Apple Mac Studio. Paragon Cineplex, Royal Paragon Hall and KidZania occupy almost the entire fifth floor of Siam Paragon. Operated by Major Cineplex, the 25,000 square metre Paragon Cineplex comprises a 15-screen multiplex cinema including smaller Ultra Screen cinemas with reclining seats and the Enigma members-only lounge, as well as an Krungsri IMAX theatre and the Siam Pavalai by Bangkok Hospital, a 1,100-seat theatre suitable for theatrical and musical performances. The Royal Paragon Hall is an 12,000 square metre events facility, with a capacity for around 5,000 people and is suitable for concerts, conventions and special exhibitions. Kidzania is an air conditioned indoors miniature world with plenty of fun activities, a scaled down city for children with buildings, roads, a transport system, businesses and a shopping alley. Most activities are best suited for children of 4 years and older. As it regards dining and refreshment, at Siam Paragon you are spoiled for choice. The mall has a wide range of restaurants, outlets and food stalls. Most restaurants are on the ground floor, but there are also dining options, confectioneries and bars on each floor of the mall. On ground floor you will find restaurants, bars and ice cream parlors of international brand, like Burger King, McDonald's, KFC, MOS Burger, Saint Etoile Bakery, Häagen-Dazs, Swensen's Ice Cream, Starbucks Coffee, as well as Italian restaurant like Pomodoro, Signor Sassi and Tony Roma's. Popular oriental restaurants include Fuji Japanese, Kabuki Japanese Restaurant, AOI Japanese Restaurant, The Grill Tokyo, and Nara Thai Cuisine. On the basement floor, in addition to the large car park, there is Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World. Formerly called Siam Ocean World, it is the largest in South East Asia and covers approximately 10,000 square meters. The fish tanks of this underground aquarium contain about 5,000,000 litres of water with over 30,000 marine creatures divided into hundreds of different species from various aquatic regions across the globe, including sharks, stingrays, penguins, sea horses, colorful corals and tropical fish.
